Biennial herbaceous perennial plant of Lamiaceae family, native to southern Europe and Western Asia.

The Queen of medicinal plants, sage is considered as the oldest cultivated plant. Clary Sage has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. It is rich in Omega 3 and has protective and purifying properties. Essential oil of sage is particularly efficient against perspiration and fight against classic feet pain.

This tropical herbaceous oilseed plant is one of the oldest cultivated (as early as 2500 BC in Mesopotamia, Syria and Palestine.)
